Metropolitan Cartography workshop

The workshop is dedicated to the topic of Smart Specializatioon Strategies and innovative tools for the Metropolitan Existing Situation Analysis (MESA). Metropolitan Cartography is a transdisciplinary mapping tool allowing us to simplify the metropolitan complexity with the vision of the project. The innovative course provides basic knowledge in urban data, QGIS, remote sensing, and multicriteria decision analysis in a flip-course format for the technical advancement of students. The in-class part of the session provides discourse on how the technology can be utilized to describe a specific topic related to the project.

The workshop is held in English at Politecnico di Milano in Milan, Italy.
