Description
In a rapidly evolving deep tech landscape, start-ups face the challenge of transforming breakthrough ideas into viable, investment-ready businesses. The Founders ABCDeep Tech Startup Support Programme provides a unique acceleration experience that helps early-stage ventures from the Western Balkans and Hungary strengthen their business foundations, enhance investment readiness and expand their innovation networks.
Designed for deep tech start-ups and spin-offs founded after 2015, the programme brings together entrepreneurial teams with high business potential, strong concepts and the ambition to grow beyond their local markets. Over a two-month online journey, participants engage in weekly workshops, one-to-one mentoring sessions and interactive exercises led by international experts in innovation and entrepreneurship.
The programme supports founders in refining their business models, improving market strategies and building the confidence needed to engage investors and strategic partners. The experience culminates in a Demo Day, where selected start-ups pitch their ideas to a panel of investors, ecosystem actors and potential collaborators. The three best-performing teams are invited to Budapest, Hungary, to present live and compete for awards of up to €10,000, with travel and accommodation expenses covered.
Through its combination of practical learning, personalised mentorship and international exposure, Founders ABCDeep Tech helps start-ups accelerate their growth, boost their visibility and connect with a wider innovation community.
The programme is implemented under the EIT HEI Alliance for Boundary Crossing in Deeptech (ABCD), co-funded by the European Union, and contributes to the development of one million deep tech talents by 2025.
Deadline for applications is 19 April. For details and call guidelines, visit the official announcement.
