Fostering Competence and Inclusion in VET through Digital Innovation

Description

The workshop “Fostering Competence and Inclusion in VET through Digital Innovation” explores how digital technologies, inclusive didactics, and cross-border collaboration are reshaping vocational education and training (VET). Students present their research on competence development and digital innovation, contributing to a broader dialogue on global trends and future directions in VET.

The program opens with a session on augmented and virtual reality for inclusive didactics, followed by a keynote on learning analytics and key digital skills, offering a systematic review of international challenges and perspectives. Two thematic tracks provide deeper insights: one on teacher competence development and inclusive innovation, and another on digital technologies for practice-oriented and safety training.

Participants have the opportunity to exchange ideas during a networking coffee break and conclude with a discussion on competence development and inclusion through digital media. By combining diverse regional perspectives with research-based contributions, the workshop highlights innovative approaches to teacher training, inclusive teaching, and the integration of practice-oriented digital tools.

The workshop is held in English.
