As part of the GeNeMe Pre-Conference, the SMART project team contributes to a panel discussion on “Sustainable University Collaborations between Europe and the Western Balkans: Pathways to Creating Stable Academic Networks.”
The event explores current challenges and opportunities in higher education cooperation within Europe, with a focus on the Western Balkans. The discussion delves into strategies for establishing sustainable academic communities and networks. Panellists share best-practice examples of successful projects and long-term partnerships, emphasizing the role of political decision-makers, educational institutions, and joint initiatives in strengthening higher education systems.
