The SMART Innovation Centers across various universities in Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania unleash a series of mini events. Mini events were organized within WP4 – Technical Setup of SMART Innovation Centres.
Objectives of the mini-event were:
- To assess the functionality and performance of the equipment
- To identify any potential issues or malfunctions.
- To ensure the equipment meets the required standards and specifications.
Mini event at University of Donja Gorica, Montenegro was held on 29.05.2024. at the the venue of UDG Smart Innovation Center: Entrepreneurial Nest of the University of Donja Gorica. The purpose of the event was to test and evaluate the performance of various equipment to ensure their reliability and effectiveness in future operations.
As part of the ongoing SMART project activities, a mini-event was held on June 23, 2024, at the Innovation Center for 3D Printing at the University of Montenegro. During the event, students were divided into groups and guided through the procedure of preparing the material mixture and the 3D printing process, using equipment acquired through the project.
The mini-event for equipment installation and testing took place at the University of Banja Luka, Faculty of Economics on October 24, 2024. The management of the Faculty of Economics, along with professors, teaching assistants, technical staff, and students and professors who will be working in the SMART Innovation Center, were present at the event.
The Center for Digital Innovation, which is focused on the field of digital agriculture, was officially opened at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of East Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The representative of the department for the provision of expert services in agriculture at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Srpska participated in the event. One of the goals of the Center for Digital Innovation is the development of innovative digital solutions to support small agricultural producers, through the active engagement of students and teaching staff of the University, and cooperation with local communities, business entities and related organizations in the country and abroad.
The mini event held at the SMART Innovation Center – SMART Business HUB, UNISHK, Faculty of Economy. on “16.04.2024. The purpose of this mini-event was to test and evaluate the performance of the equipment of our SIC. This Mini event was organized by the UNISHK team. It was organized before the local Workshops.
Mini event for stakeholders of SMART CITY HUB Center, has been thought as a presentation of Smart City Development in the framework of tourism development. Klaus Divija, a Master student with the support of Prof. Fioralba Vela, Coordinator of the SMART CITY HUB, has presented a study on Smart city for Smart Tourism in Vlora, in the presence of academic staff and municipality. This, to enhance the role of the center in offering training and counselling services for creating competencies related to smart specialization.
