SMART workshops – Exciting Innovations ahead at SMART Centers!

During the March and April our SMART Innovation Centers across various universities in Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania unleash a series of cutting-edge workshops designed to foster creativity and drive innovation. Each center hosted workshops tailored to specific academic and practical interests, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience for all participants.

At the University of Donja Gorica, Montenegro there was the successful culmination of three enriching workshops hosted within the vibrant ecosystem of the UDG SMART Innovation Center. These workshops have served as catalysts for creativity, sparking insightful discussions, and empowering participants to envision and realize transformative ideas on 3D Design in SMART Innovation Center, Introduction of the SMART Innovation Center and Intellectual Property Rights.

Participants of the workshops hosted by the University of Montenegro were immersed in a comprehensive exploration of 3D modeling, printing and software application as well. Through engaging sessions, attendees delved into the theoretical foundations of 3D tools, printers, scanners, and pens, gaining insights into the diverse applications of this technology. Practical workshops focused on mastering Autodesk Inventor, from navigating its interface to applying advanced processing techniques, empowering participants to translate their creative ideas into tangible designs.

The University of East Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina organized internal workshops in the period: the end of March and in April 2024 on topics: Green teaching and learning methodologies, Safety and security protocols for students and staff related to internationalization, Digital technologies in agriculture, Engineering practice, Making business plans, Introducing innovative management games and organizing competitions.

University of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina  held two workshops within their SMART Innovation Center. At the Faculty of Economics, University of Banja Luka in the period 16-25 April 2024, two 3-days internal workshops were held on the following topics: The Quintuple Helix Approach as an instrument for Regional Cohesion and Innovation and Innovative Product Development and Intellectual Property Protection. Agile project management.

University of Vlora “Ismail Qemali”, Albania engaged  participants with “Skills & Competences for Smart Specialization” and “Smart Specialization and Quintuple Helix Model of Innovation,” fostering advanced skills for regional development and collaborative innovation.

Universiteti ‘Fan S. Noli’ Korçë, Albania focused on “Sustainable Entrepreneurship” and “Innovation Incentives for Young Entrepreneurs,” supporting the next generation of business leaders.

Universiteti i Shkodrës ‘Luigj Gurakuqi’, Albania  integrated “Digital Transformation Strategies” and “Innovation in Community Development,” preparing attendees for digital advancements and community projects.
